Devilish Chicken Livers

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

8 Whole thick-sliced bacon -- sliced
375 Grams chicken livers -- washed and dried
35 Grams red onion -- chopped fine
1 Tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 Teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
5 Grams fresh ginger root -- grated

Microwave the bacon til to taste (slightly chewy preferred).
Preheat a saute pan to medium, pour in the bacon dripping.
Turn the heat down and saute the onion, ginger and worcestershire sauce in the dripping, gently.
When the onion is translucent, turn back up to medium, pushing the onion mixture to the side, and lay in the livers gently.
Saute the livers briefly on each side at medium, then stir the mixture around and thru the livers, turn the heat down to simmer, and cover.
Let simmer for up to 5 minutes til done to taste; do not overcook.
Serves 2 (very rich), entree size; serves ? appetizer size (how many chicken livers in 3/4+ pound?), use decorative picks or forks.
