Default Protein Bars

I would like to make some good tasting protein bars that use ingredients that are readily available and no sugar alcohols. I have some Vanilla Whey Protein Powder at home which I would like to use if possible because I am bored with Shakes and have a ton of powder. I don't like soy powder or soy products and am not too big of a fan of peanuts, athough peanut butter is tolerable if there is a chocolate taste as well. Any recipies out there?

I found one that used peanut butter, whey protien powder, and powdered splenda. You hand rolled them so they looked like, well what you would find in a cat box. The taste was really good though

I made my own bars for a bit, I used a recipe I got off abcbodybuilding.com and modified it to lower carb. I used protein powder, nuts, peanut butter, oats, ground flax, and melted butter to make it stick together. I am just about certain they caused me to stall, all the peanut butter. But they sure were good!

We use the protein bar recipe in Dana Carpender's 500LC recipes. It uses crunchy peanutbutter and whey protein. The recipe calls for vanilla whey protein but we also make it with chocolate. You definately taste the peanutbutter but the chocolate ones taste more like reeses cup flavor. They are pressed into a 8x8 pan and cut into 9 pieces. They are small but filling and also seem to satisfy a sweet tooth craving.
